My first boat building project was a raft built on 4 wooden logs. It had one sail but when you are only 12 years old it's not so easy. The importance of stability was unknown to me and the function of a rudder not understood.

My father captured my first trials on film in 1964 and 36 years later (year 2000) I scanned one frame with a high resolution film scanner. The little piece of plastic film was only 6 X 4 millimeter but the resolution of the scanner was 3000 pixels per inch so it was worth a try. Sweet, isn't it ?
